S3 stimulation or Interstim

This is the only surgical solution to detrussor incontinence (Overactive Bladder) for patients with symptoms of frequency, urgency, and urinary retention. A small wire is placed through the small opening in the sacrum to stimulate the nerves to the bladder. A pacemaker can eventually be attached to the wire to control the symptoms.
